  1. Tami;
    I am SO excited to read on Monday that you HAVE that document! I'll be praying until then that it goes smoothly, and that I will see pictures of your boy coming home soon!
    ALL glory be to God!

  4. Hoping that "no news is good news" holds true here. Waiting to here if you got your document from FIL.

  6. Been checking faithfully a couple times a day. I really hope things have worked out the way you were hoping, but I fear your FIL just used the situation to steal $1000 from you.

  9. wow, no word yet? I hope you will donate the money to Tanner's fund if you can not adopt him anymore. This is a very strange thing .

  10. Agree with you - Strange indeed. Anyone else starting to think the real skam isn't by the FIL? This is why I don't donate money directly to people I don't know.

  11. How dare you, Anonymous! I have NOT scammed anyone...you don't know me and this wacko family that I have married into...I have the money, ready in a seperate account that we only use for adoption expenses...it is not my fault that this man will not get his ass to the notary to certify this paperwork! He has no idea of the timeline we are up against here, and he really doesn't care...we have tried to explain things to him, but he doesn't want to hear about it! This is NOT a priority for him, therefore, it gets done in his time, not mine. Yes, I know that sounds unreasonable, but that is just the way he is, and there is nothing I can do about it.

  12. There's something I don't understand Anonymous...you say you don't give money to people you don't know, BUT you do read blogs AND leave comments to those you don't know. Insinuating that Tami is scamming people was a harsh statement. You have NOT walked in her shoes...you have NO idea the amount of sweat and tears she has put in to this adoption. And most of all you have NO clue what kind of man her FIL is. Personally, I do...although I'm not going to get into that on her blog. As a reader you should be supporting her...and if you can't do that, then please refrain from leaving commments. My mother always told me, "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all". Sad that you didn't have the same upbringing. And if you DO feel the need to leave such comments, then don't be a coward...sign your name (just as I am about to).
