I have it!
I have the needed document! But, he "forgot" to do the notaries that go along with it! Ugh! He has promised to meet hubby at the notary this afternoon to get them done. It is four hours later...still no call to meet him. I told him I needed them today, as I want to take everything to Harrisburg tomorrow for apostilling...

It's really great that at least you have the document! Does he have to be present at the notary's?
ReplyDeleteYes, he needs to sign the papers in front of the notary... He and hubby are having them done RIGHT NOW! OMG!

ReplyDeleteWell, the notaries cannot be used...her commission expires in August, and they must be good for at least a year...she also made many mistakes...you would think doing this for a living, she would know how to do it! Oh, and he only came home with ONE done...there are two. He tried, but he is just clueless...
ReplyDeleteNo dice getting them done today...FIL called and every appointment he had seemed to run twice as long, and by the time he could get back, the notary was closed. Looks like we try again tomorrow...and I have to admit, he has been quite patient for having to do the do-overs...I guess he knows now that we are not giving up. I just want this phase of the process done, If I hear the word notary after this, I think I'll go insane!
