We have approval from USCIS to adopt our Tanner! And in record time, too! This is thanks to my new freind, Lisa, who suggested that I send a nice email to the adoption officer at USCIS asking him to expedite our application. I did, and he did! The wonderful and charming Mr. Copesick actually CALLED me this afternoon to inform me that he has APPROVED our application for adoption! Next step...send everything we have spent months collecting over to Tanner's country and wait for them to say yes.
To add to the goodness of the day, we also received a new picture of our sweetie today! Complements of Serge. He is getting big! Can't wait to have him in my arms!

ReplyDeleteSorry it's taken me so long to get on your blog. We're adopting from the same orphanage and it looks like our timelines are quite similar. I'm still waiting on the i171h form but should get it within a week. So hopefully our paths will cross in Z-town! :) I'm also a PA native (grew up in the Reading area) and went to Penn State! Go LIONS!!!
